                               RESOLUTION NO. 20550
                  
                  
                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR OF 
                  THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND THE CITY 
                  FINANCE OFFICER TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST, 
                  RESPECTIVELY, AN AGREEMENT WITH VULCAN 
                  MATERIALS COMPANY RELATIVE TO THEIR PURCHASE 
                  OF MILLED ASPHALT PAVEMENT MATERIALS FROM THE 
                  CITY OF CHATTANOOGA AT FIVE AND 85/100 DOLLARS 
                  ($5.85) PER TON.
                  
                  
                                                     
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department 
       of Public Works and the City Finance Officer be and are hereby 
       authorized to execute and attest, respectively, an Agreement with 
       Vulcan Materials Company relative to their purchase of milled 
       asphalt pavement materials from the City of Chattanooga at $5.85 
       per ton.
